We witnessed a mighty move of God in Masindi, Uganda!
One of the significant challenges in Masindi was, like Kitgum, where I lead a crusade 2 years before, that it has been one of witchcraft capitals of Uganda. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but is a spiritual war!!
As a result, we faced heavy opposition. However, night after night, we saw Jesus gain the victory. One of the most remarkable aspects of this crusade was the mass deliverance that took place. at the main crusades, and during the schools crusades. During the testimony times, many people came forward to share how Jesus had delivered them!
Did you Know? Uganda has one of the youngest average ages of population in the world, at just 15.9 years. Research conducted by the International Bible Society says that 83% of Christians make their first commitment to Jesus between the ages of 4 and 14, thus when they are children or early youth people are at their most receptive to coming to know Jesus . This is one of the reasons why God has sent us to Uganda, to reap a harvest of souls.
We had a team of 5 crusade evangelists and 16 other evangelists as part of the team. A remarkable aspect of this invasion was that we funded the local evangelists to join us. They ate with us, prayed with us, and preached with us for two weeks straight. This allowed us to walk in CFAN’s dream of multiplication. The local evangelists thanked us for helping them fulfil the call God had on their lives. Our team was able to open doors for these evangelists, just as CFAN has done for us.
During the Masindi crusade, pastors kept approaching us, sharing how they had never seen anything like this in their city. Some of the lead pastors told us it was only God who drew the people and that this event was solely by His hand. No man could have produced what we saw happen in Masindi. We locked arms with the locals and witnessed God gain the victory.
The Results:
The Gospel Invasion June the 15th to July 8th
• We completed 316 outreaches.
• Preached the Gospel to 111, 092 people in schools , prisons, market places and other sites.
• We saw 75,934 people make decisions for Jesus.
The Crusade
• We had a total attendance over the 5 nights of the crusade of : 50,500.
• Total decisions for Jesus: 12,938.
Grand Total for the crusade and invasion
• 161,592 attendance.
• 88,872 total decisions!
Healings and Deliverances ….
Before the crusade, we brought 16 local Fire Camp-trained evangelists to join us in a Gospel invasion. One of the evangelists, who had only just finished CfaN Fire Camp training began to see miracles for the first time. While preaching the Gospel and praying for the sick in the markets, she witnessed her second miracle ever: a mute and deaf man heard and spoke for the first time.
Healings at the crusade:
Here are just a few of the nearly 100 other Miracles we saw both at the crusade
• Moses. Had a partial hearing problem from when he was born. Now his hearing dramatically improved and he can hear sharper and very well.
• Abigaba Juliet had back pain for 2 years and couldn’t bend or do any hard work. After the evangelist prayed, she can now bend and move without any pain.
• Felly, a lady, had back pain and a paralysed leg, and she was healed by the Lord and able to move normally without pain.
• Alive, a lady, had a terrible pain in her throat …..she was in pain and discomfort when she ate or drank for 15 years!! After the prayer she vomited, and she felt something leave her. Now she is able to eat and drink with no discomfort!! She was delivered by Jesus!!
• SHOWN RIGHT Godfrey had intestinal pain for 10 years, and he would feel pain every day. However, at the meeting it completely disappeared, he tested it on stage, and he has been healed by Jesus.

Read about these remarkable miracles below I have never seen before!……
A few things stand out in my mind for the wonderful time we had preaching to the children in schools in the city of Masindi and many of the surrounding areas and towns.
Mass Deliverance of 18 demons from children !!!
A school gets free of the devils’ plan to destroy it!!!
The first one was an extraordinary opportunity at one primary school to pray for 18 senior girls to be delivered from witchcraft. Masindi was a city known in the region, as a centre for witchcraft. It lived up to its reputation!!!
So, it began when we went to a school and the head teacher gave us permission to come into the school to speak to the children, but then informed me that there were problems…. that some of the girls were falling and manifesting demons. It had turned out that one of the girls in the senior class (whose parents were witchdoctors) had introduced other girls in two of the senior classes to witchcraft and demon spirits had entered into all of them .(so the girls were between10-12) I asked if I could pray for them at the end of the presentation and the head teacher agreed . After I had checked that they had all accepted Jesus as their lord and saviour and led them in a prayer renouncing witchcraft, on one moment, all together they fell over. and began manifesting demons.

When we concluded the prayers, we got other local pastors to follow up, and the parents of the girl who introduced the others to witchcraft, after seeing the power of God, gave their lives to Jesus as well! Praise God!!
A schools missions day that started as a disappointment…. But God miraculously turned into a surprise crusade with the primary school children of the entire area!!
Our God of miracles can turn around things that look like they are going wrong! On one of the days of schools missions our team went out a long distance only to find that due to a schools holiday in that particular area, all the schools were closing early at lunchtime. It was so disappointing as we hadn’t managed to do many schools before then, and the ones we had gone to were small.
But then we found out that afternoon the aid agency World Vision, through which people from richer countries can sponsor school children, had organised a special large youth event in the afternoon , and all the primary school in the district had been invited.
When we arrived, we estimated there were nearly 4 thousand children there. There were tents set up on four sides to create a small stadium. We realised that this special event had been organised long ago and had a printed programme of timed scheduled events. It didn’t look possible that we would be allowed to speak to the children. None of the officials were very hopeful that we would be allowed to get on the planned program at such short notice.
But then the Lord spoke to me. “Go to the top man , the person in charge of the event and speak to him”. This required a bit of courage to walk through the crowds, the officials, the dignitaries and go up to the top table and try to get his attention. After a short prayer asking for the Lords help, I did this, and he paused for a moment and said if you wait to the end you can speak to them then.
Surely, I though, everyone would be leaving then! But they announced us, and virtually nobody left!!! There were thousands there!! It was my colleague’s turn to speak, my fellow evangelist who was with me. She had does schools before, but never a big crusades……God opened a door…It was her first crusade…and thousands of children gave their lives to Jesus!!
